She has been a member of the Liverpool Empire Theatre Company since she was eleven years old and for seven consecutive years she has performed in musical theatre shows such as; Footloose, West Side Story, Cats, In The Heights. However, in 2012 she played a main role in Annie, Tessie. She started as a Musical Theatre Student in 2014 at LIPA 4:19 for two years. Moving on in 2016 to audition for LIPA Sixth form where she was extremely privileged to gain a place into Sir Paul Mcartney’s performing arts school to train as an actor. She completed the course with a D*,D*,D (A*,A*,A).
She joined The Everyman Theatre Company for two years during her time at LIPA to learn about several new theatre techniques in devising and how to incorporate these into various shows. In the same year she started teaching as a dance and acting tutor at a local theatre school in Liverpool known as ‘Stage Door’.
When training she learnt; physical theatre & clowning, improvisation, musical theatre, practitioner studies & theory, business, theatre in the community (prisons, hospitals etc), stand up comedy, theatre in education, political theatre, Shakespeare and lots more to mention from my time at LIPA.
She looks forward to developing the children’s acting abilities in scripted and non-scripted pieces. Her aim is for the children to enjoy my lessons as much as she enjoys teaching them. In the future, her goal is to create my own theatre company.
Caitlin has been dancing since she was nine years old. She trains with NRG Dance School where she has developed herself to become one of their senior dancers. She is trained in Grade 4 ballet in at IDTA level. She has performed musical theatre and gymnastics and in numerous NRG shows over the years, covering many different dance styles. After assisting with dance classes at NRG she discovered my love for teaching. She is currently studying a Diploma in teaching performance with the University of the Arts London. Her heart most definitely lies within musical theatre, thus feeding her passion to teach it! Caitlin has presented on a ITV Documentary film. Her dream job would be to teach musical theatre and perform in a Broadway show!
Juliette has been a member of her local dance company for the past 15 years, studying all styles of dance, completing ISTD examinations and competing in competitions all over the country. In 2017 she was lucky enough to be selected to represent Team Northern Ireland in the Dance World Cup, which is one of the highlights of her dance career. Through dance she also found singing, placing the two together and forming her initial love for musical theatre. She has been training in musical theatre for the past 11 years performing songs from Oliver, Annie, Cats and Phantom of the Opera. She has also completed up to Grade 7 in LCM piano examinations allowing me to play live music for the children to practice to. She is currently studying Theatre and Film Studies at Lancaster University.
At School For Stage she wants to be able to pass on the knowledge that she has gathered over the last 15 years to the performers of the future, so that the students can bring these skills taught here at SFS into their daily lives and into the foreseeable future.
